Hello, my name is Matt and I’ve built a decades-long career upholding the public trust as a Certified Residential Appraiser and Realtor, and then in 2020 adding Mortgage Broker Owner/Loan Officer to my expertise portfolio. I am licensed in AZ and CO for loan origination.

I pride myself on not engaging in shortcuts and rushed transactions like many competitors. I work for YOU and manage your transaction as if it were my own money. During my extensive career, I’ve taken pride in my peerless valuation services as well as being a headache-free, “Peace-of-Mind” realtor style.

These years of staying calm in what can be very demanding situations has positioned me well to work alongside my wife Jacquie in the mortgage brokerage and provide the business and transactional support she needs while she helps in assisting homebuyers and homeowners get the best mortgage experience ever.

Some of my expertise: I am a Certified Residential Appraiser and Realtor in Arizona and a Certified Residential Appraiser in Colorado, and have been a valuation professional since 1998, performing several thousand combined Residential and Machinery and Equipment appraisals. In Real Estate valuation, I have specialized in review, investigative assignments, Asset Management/REO engagements and appraisals of luxury/ultra-luxury residential properties and multi-unit dwellings.

I work with the top financial services corporations in the country and have been a preferred appraiser with the Arizona Department of Transportation and a trusted adviser to the Arizona Department of Housing. I’ve been awarded the Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser and Senior Business Analyst designations by the NEBB Institute and have held these designations since 2008. CMEAs are located throughout the United States and several foreign countries, and are utilized by banks, other lending institutions, CPAs, attorneys, business buyers/sellers and others to provide needed financial information for a variety of reasons, including current, retrospective and hypothetical valuations and expert witness testimony.

I’ve been appointed Special Master by the United States District Court, District of Arizona. I am also the Owner and Chief Appraiser of Expert Valuation and Consulting, LLC, and I’m a Realtor with HomeSmart located in Scottsdale.
